For any of you that know me, know that I’m a huge fan of small press! I’ve found a lot of joy in publishing with small press, and these companies amaze me with the mark they are making in the publishing world today .
They are each different in their own way. I know for me, with the type of books I write, there are only a handful that I will sub to (that work for me), so you will have to find what’s best for you. I’m not going to take the time to list what they are looking for—I’ll let you go to their websites and do the research—but I will provide the link. Small press can be difficult to research and find, so I hope this list is helpful. If you’d like to add a publisher to this list, let me know!

Excellent list. My eight children's books (seven out, one currently being illustrated) were published through Crimson Cloak Publishing. They are considered a micro publisher and have been so wonderful to work with!
